Winter 2014

Happy New Year!

Despite the sub-zero start to our first week of playgroup in the new year, our Chatham site was busy and it’s going to be a busy winter season, we can tell. You won’t want to miss the family events that are schedule, as well as arts, crafts and music programs which will be hosted at our sites throughout the season. Or, just find a quiet spot and enjoy a cup of coffee while the kids play–There’s definitely something for everyone at FRC!

Don’t forget to check in with FRC on Facebook to keep abreast of closings in the event of nasty weather– we can be located under Familyresourcecenterscc — And if you haven’t “liked” us yet be sure to do so and invite a friend!

We also take a moment to recognize the recent and sudden loss of long term, Chatham site director Pam Raup- Kounovsky’s husband Nick. A friend to FRC for many years, Nick could be found working behind the scenes to assist FRC in so many ways…whether is was fixing a troublesome door, keeping the refrigerator running, or lending a hand with our tag sale. Nick will be missed. Our condolences to Pam and her family.

As we begin the new year we would especially like to thank all of our friends and families who contributed so generously to our Annual Appeal! Without your support, our playgroups could not survive and we are truly grateful for our community’s commitment to our mission!
From our Board and Staff
Thank you!
